Persian Cultural Club and Dehkhoda Farsi School Present Summer Camp 2011

Our 6-week Summer Camp program will start on July 5th and will run through August 12th. The camp days are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with daily activities that will include Soccer, Basketball, Persian Dance, Chess, karate, Swimming, Drawing and craft. Dear Parents,

We would like to ask all the volunteers who helped us out during our Norooz program to join us for brunch on Sunday March 27th at 10:00am at the address shown below. We will discuss our Norooz event and would be glad to hear your comments about what worked and what didn’t during the event.

Mehri joon will cook HALEEM. Please feel free to bring your favorite breakfast item.

And everyone else can join us for Dehkhoda family members EID DIDANI at 12:00 noon to 4:00pm.

You need to bring 7 hard boiled eggs with you to class.

Dear Dehkhoda Parents,

We wholeheartedly appreciate the help and support of all of you who are participating and volunteering in our Norooz celebration.

Beloved Persian Teacher Passes: Ostad Amir Hossein Tabnak 1935 – 2010

Dear parents,

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Ostad Tabnak, our beloved calligraphy instructor. We had the honor and pleasure to know and work with Mr. Tabnak for 5 years at Dehkhoda.

We would like to extend our condolences to Mr. Tabnak’s family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Here are the details on Ostad Tabnak’s funeral ceremonies:

Interment will be this Friday 11/26, at 10AM, Los Gatos Memorial Park.

Gathering in Celebration of his life, on Sunday 11/28, from 3pm-6pm at Faz
restaurant.
